    Offshore Slickline Assistant:

    The entry level position of Offshore Slickline Assistant will place you in a position to learn the role of a Slickline Operator and eventually advance into that role. This opportunity is not for the average person though. Only eager, dependable, safety conscious, teachable candidates who aren’t afraid of hard work need to apply. Candidate must be able and willing to work long hours in the field and do heavy physical labor. This position does require occasional travel away from home. 


    Essential Duties and Responsibilities

    • Assist the Slickline Operator with all assigned tasks
    • Rig up and down equipment on location
    • Assemble, clean, disassemble, and utilize slickline equipment
    • Perform shop duties while not in the field
    • Work a 21/7 rotation offshore
    • Load and unload slickline equipment into tool boxes
    • Maintain and promote a safe working environment
    • Responsibilities and Minimum Requirements
    • Oil and gas industry experience highly preferred (slickline experience a huge plus but not required)
    • Comfortable with heights (for example, working on a man-lift, snubbing unit basket or tall wellhead)
    • Mechanically inclined - works well with hands and understands how things work
    • Willingness to take instruction and learn the trade
    • Ability to withstand long hours, weather, and very physical work 
    • Must have dependable transportation to get to the shop
    • Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record
    • Education
    • High School diploma or G.E.D. required
