    Stabil Drill is currently seeking a Full-Time Inventory Planning Analyst to join our team. This position can be based in Lafayette, LA or Houston, TX.




    The Inventory Planning Analyst is responsible for reporting internal financials, budgets, and forecasts for the organization. Including process improvement projects for the organization; including continued refinement of the budgeting, forecasting, and purchasing processes.  


    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:


    • Leads, manages, compiles and provides analysis toward all company planning, forecasting and strategic planning activities.
    • Develop inventory planning program to improve asset management companywide.
    • Provides analysis of monthly financial results including the interpretation of current month performance information as a predictive tool for attainment of full year performance expectations.
    • Complete reports weekly, monthly, and quarterly forecast as well as the annual budget.
    • Develops sourcing plan and implement based on inventory requirements.
    • Analyzes spend and develops strategies to leverage company buying power.
    • Monitors rental asset utilization and execute reduction programs to ensure that the company is operating within an optimal number of rental assets.
    • Manages inventory replenishment based on production schedules, current inventory, customer orders and forecasts.
    • Responsible for developing partnerships with the Company’s suppliers and vendors. This includes establishing relationships with vendor management, controlling budget, negotiating costs.  
    • Ensure awareness of, and compliance with, relevant company/customer QHSE requirements.
    • Perform special projects as needed.

     Supervisory Responsibilities: This job has indirect management responsibilities, providing project specific supervision, training, mentoring and coordinating the work of a subordinate group.



    • High school diploma or equivalent general education degree (GED) required.
    • Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university preferred.
    • Minimum of five to eight years’ experience.
    • Equivalent combination of experience and/or training.
