Superior Energy Completion Services is currently seeking a Entry Level Business Analyst to join their team in Waller, TX.




The Business Analyst will perform analyses required to optimize our business practices and evaluate ad hoc business opportunities. The Business Analyst will gather and synthesize data into reports that enable the Company to plan for the future, evaluate client opportunities, and distinctively position itself competitively in the market place. The Business Analyst’s primary responsibility will be to gather data across multiple areas, including diverse geographies and functions, and distill that data into concrete insights or messages.




  • Comply with Superior Energy Completion Services’ Shared Core Values and supporting policies, standards, and applicable process documentation.
  • Oversee the preparation of department specific balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and other financial reports.
  • Manages the preparation of annual operating and capital expenditure budgets.
  • Establishes, or recommends to management, major economic objectives for department.
  • Reports department’s finances to management, and offers suggestions about resource utilization and underlying budget forecasts.
  • Review financial statements with management personnel and VP.
  • Drives and manages the P&L at a high level.
  • Perform all work according to agreed expectations of both internal and external customers, focus on doing things right the first time and every time, and contribute actively to continual improvement activities.
  • Develop key forward-looking strategic analyses to assist leadership in critical decision making and forward planning.
  • Assist in the development of monthly reports providing visibility on global oil prices and demand and energy market trends.
  • Analyze regional developments and supply / demand dynamics to help create supply/demand forecast.
  • Provide general analytical and strategic support for special projects, while developing industry knowledge base.
  • Gain familiarity with and ability to operate bidding and long term planning models.
  • Play a key role in development of communication materials for sales team, management, and VP.




  • 0 to 2 years experience performing Business Analyst duties
  • Knowledge of Excel, Financial Forecasting, Market Analytics, Revenue forecasting, gross margin analysis, and P&L
  • Strong Analytical/Statistical skills
  • Proficiency in PowerPoint




  • Bachelor of Science in Finance, Business, Accounting or related field of study required.
