Summary:

To oversee and monitor the electronic function of the base location or specific department. This representative can be the primary individual responsible for ensuring all electronic related issues are managed effectively and completely. Promotes high levels of quality associated with pre-job, job-site and post-job operations of our equipment from an electronics perspective.

 

Major Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the coordination of electrical systems and functions at the base location
  • Ensure self-training is complete regarding all new equipment, prototypes and innovations
  • Routine documentation and testing of all equipment
  • Responsible for the upkeep of electronics work area and all associated surroundings
  • Promotes safety awareness and environmental consciousness, and complies with all applicable health, safety and environmental procedures and regulations
  • Other duties as assigned

Competency Requirements:

  • Experience is preferred but not required as a condition of employment
  • Basic computer and instrument knowledge
  • Reading comprehension and writing skills

Physical Job Demands:

  • Exposure to weather – Exposure to hot, cold, wet, humid, or windy conditions caused by weather
  • Atmospheric Conditions – Exposure to conditions such as fumes, noxious odors, dusts, mists, and gases
  • Required to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) when applicable
  • Required to travel to job sites for a week or more at a time in a designated area
  • Must be able to work long periods of time, including nights and weekends
  • Must have efficient eye-hand coordination
  • Must be able to perform physical labor involved frequent lifting (over 50 lbs.), carrying, bending, and shoveling
