Superior Energy Completion Services is currently seeking a Technical Sales Representative to join their team in McAlister, OK.

 

SUMMARY

Responsible for both field sales and job site service delivery, providing technical support to the customer on specific products and their applications. Responds to customers request and stays current in knowledge of new products and services. Communicates closely with and provides feedback to Regional Manager, District Managers, and Engineering teams on customer needs, competitors, technology requirements, and other pertinent issues within assigned area. Identifies opportunities to enhance solutions to customer’s specific production requirements. Tracks and analyzes the performance of products, equipment, and operating results with the goal of improving performance. Typically assigned to specific product lines, but may identify opportunities for other product lines. Typically requires an undergraduate degree or equivalent field experience and detailed technical knowledge and applications of products in the product lines.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

 

  • Technical Advisor to customers on Plunger Lift applications
  • Work with Regional and District Managers to develop strategies to increase market share in their respective area of responsibility
  • Provide market intelligence of customer and competitor activities
  • Make sales calls to field locations
  • Responsible for inventory accuracy
  • Responsible for invoice input into Great Plains
  • Serve as mentor to junior level Technical Sales Representatives
  • Develop and maintain relationships with current customers and establish relationships with new customers
  • Enhance company profitability by successfully selling products and services at specified discounts approved by your Supervisor
  • Daily interaction with customers
  • Learn and report on customer’s activity plans
  • Provide customer feedback on various aspects of Service quality
  • Serves as liaison between SCS and the client through all phases of a job
  • Forecast Revenues/Job activity levels as requested
  • Deliver equipment to customer sites.
  • Perform duties in an Optimization role from time to time as necessary to support the customer and organization.

 

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

 

  • Minimum of 3 to 7 years related experience
  • 1 to 2 years’ experience as a Plunger Lift Technical Sales Representative or equivalent preferred

EDUCATION

 

  • High School Diploma or GED required
